Say aloha to our amazing swim instructors! All of them have a deep love for the water. Each of our instructors has a unique background in swimming and is dedicated to helping your keiki achieve his or her swim goals!

Natasha
Natasha has spent her entire life swimming in the ocean. She works as a lifeguard at a hotel pool in Waikiki, where she enjoys working with kids. Natasha is also a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, pursuing a degree in microbiology while also teaching a chemistry lab. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and swimming. She has a passion for teaching children and takes joy in sharing her knowledge with them, always encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.

Baylor
Baylor has been in the water her entire life, beginning competitive swimming at age 4 in a summer league in New Jersey before transitioning to year-round training at age 10. She continued her swimming career through high school in Florida and her first two years at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland before transferring to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she is currently studying Psychology. Baylor is passionate about working with people of all ages ranging from children to adults! She brings over four years of experience as a Certified Red Cross Lifeguard, with CPR/AED, Emergency Oxygen Administration, and First Aid certifications, she has supervised hundreds of children in swim camps, recreational pool settings, and swim lesson programs and has also participated in teaching free swim lessons in Florida. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment where swimmers of all ages can build confidence and enjoy the water as much as she does.

Allie
Allie has been swimming for most of her life and grew up as a competitive butterfly swimmer in Carlsbad, California. She went on to swim collegiately for two years at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, before transferring to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Allie has over five years of experience teaching swim lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, from building water confidence and safety skills to developing proper stroke technique. She enjoys working with kids, forming positive connections, and helping them feel confident, safe, and successful in the water.

Olivia
Olivia has spent most of her life in the water with 10 years of competitive swimming experience, including 4 years on her high school swim team as a team captain. As one of the more experienced swimmers, she always enjoyed teaching the four swim strokes to less experienced girls while helping to coach them through races. Now a recent graduate with a B.S. in marine biology from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Olivia spends much of her free time snorkeling, painting, and volunteering. She has always loved working with children, and as a longtime swimmer, she understands the importance of making swimming a fun and safe experience for everyone, whether in the pool or out on the reef!

Gabi
Gabi has been an avid swimmer her entire life and is passionate about helping others feel confident and safe in the water. She is CPR certified, has one year of lifeguarding experience, and over two years of experience teaching swim lessons to students ranging from babies to adults. Gabi is currently at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa studying Elementary Education and hopes to become a teacher one day. She loves working with kids and enjoys creating a fun, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. She enjoys art, drawing and painting, going to the beach, reading, and exploring nature.

Natsumi
Growing up on the Big Island, Natsumi has spent most of her life in and around the water. She participated in novice swim for five years before continuing on to competitive swimming for another five years. During this time, she also helped out at the UH Hilo summer swim program for four summers, working with swimmers of all ages, from introducing babies to the water to helping older students build endurance and strengthen their technique. She now attends the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa as a Kinesiology major. Natsumi always felt comfortable in the water and it has become a place where she can go to relax. She wants others to be able to feel that way as well, especially being that we are in Hawai’i. She wants them to be able to feel confident with their skills and what they can do so they can enjoy beaches and swimming in a low-stress way.
